RACQ LifeFlight Rescue airlifts horse fall victim

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a woman aged in her mid-30s after she fell from a horse while mustering cattle on a property outside Gympie's north-west.

She was airlifted by the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue chopper to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital for further treatment.

2017 was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,344 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
