Horse riding accident leaves woman in hospital
A woman is recovering in hospital after she fell from a horse earlier this morning.
The Brisbane-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Helicopter was tasked to the property, in the Somerset region, shortly after 8 o'clock this morning.
The woman was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
2017 was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,344 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
