Father saves toddler from drowning
LifeFlight's Roma-based Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) helicopter has airlifted a toddler to Brisbane after she nearly drowned on a private property about 70km outside of Dalby last night.
The toddler's father pulled the girl, who was unconscious, from the water and performed CPR until Queensland Ambulance Services (QAS) arrived.
QAS paramedics continued to perform CPR and established an intravenous for the toddler.
The LifeFlight SGAS crew has commended QAS for their outstanding effort in stabilising the girl.
The LifeFlight SGAS helicopter then airlifted the toddler to Brisbane in a stable condition.
