Dirt bike rider airlifted by RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter

A dirt bike rider with chest injuries was airlifted to hospital earlier today (Sat 27th), by the Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter.

The rider, aged in his twenties, came off his bike at a recreational park north west of Murgon this morning.

He was transported by the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) from the accident scene, to the  RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter.

The injured man was in a serious but stable condition, when he was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
