Child airlifted following pushbike accident
A primary school-aged child has suffered serious injuries in a bicycle accident in Queensland's south-west region.
The young girl sustained injuries to her head and was taken to the Toowoomba Hospital.
The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was called in this evening to airlift the child.
With an RACQ LifeFlight critical care doctor and a Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedic on board to attend to her, she was transported to the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital in a serious condition.
