Car crash leaves two boys injured
The Brisbane-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted two young boys who were involved in a car crash yesterday afternoon.
It's believed the accident occurred on a private property in the Southern Downs.
The two boys were taken to Stanthorpe Hospital before being flown to the Mater Hospital. They were then transferred to Lady Cilento Children's Hospital.
2017 was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,344 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
