Boy airlifted after trampoline tumble

The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a young boy injured in a trampoline accident on a property in the North Burnett region this afternoon.

The boy sustained suspected upper limb injuries after he launched himself several meters off the trampoline. 

He was airlifted by the Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter to Bundaberg hospital for further treatment. 

RACQ LifeFlight Rescue received the tasking call at 4.10pm.

The 2017-2018 financial year was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,452 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
