Man airlifted after motorcycle accident near Injune

A 39-year-old man has been airlifted by LifeFlight's Roma-based Surat Gas Aero-Medical Service (SGAS) helicopter after he was involved in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident on a property near Injune, approximately 90 kilometres north of Chinchilla.

The man was airlifted to Chinchilla Hospital in a stable condition with suspected chest and leg injuries.

LifeFlight's Roma-based SGAS helicopter was tasked to the mission at approximately 3.00pm.

This was the seventh mission flown in one month for the LifeFlight Roma-based SGAS helicopter, airlifting six patients from the scene of accidents, and performing one inter-hospital transfer between Taroom and Roma Hospital since early March.
