Man airlifted after motorbike accident
A man has been airlifted to hospital by the Roma SGAS LifeFlight Rescue helicopter after a motorbike accident this afternoon.
The off-road accident occured on a private property in the Bundaberg region around 5:30pm.
The man who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident was airlifted in a stable condition.
2016-17 was a record year for LifeFlight for lifesaving missions with its aeromedical crews, community helicopters and Air Ambulance jets performing a record 5,342 missions throughout Queensland and around the world.
