Holiday maker injured on Fraser Island
The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter has airlifted a 33 year old female from Orchid Beach on Fraser Island.
The holiday maker from Brisbane was exploring the popular Champagne Pools when she slipped and fell, injuring her wrist.
She was treated at the scene by Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics before being transported to meet the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter which landed at Orchid Beach.
The rescue helicopter then airlifted the patient to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition for further medical treatment
