Baby airlifted after falling into an open fire Gympie

The Brisbane based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter transported a specialist paediatric team from the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital to Gympie Hospital overnight to airlift a four month old boy who had suffered burns to his left arm.

The baby is believed to have fallen into open fire. The patient traveled in a stable condition along with his mother to the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital.
