Woman airlifted after serious MVA Yarraman
RACQ CareFlight Rescue's Sunshine Coast helicopter was tasked early Sunday afternoon to a motor vehicle accident on the out skirts of Yarraman involving two vehicles.
Once on scene the Critical Care Doctor and Flight Paramedic assisted the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) in treating two patients, one from each vehicle.
The first patient, a woman in her late sixties from Blackbutt who was driving a sedan, suffered multiple traumatic head and internal injuries.
She was stabilised at the scene and airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a serious condition.
The second driver, a male was transported to hospital by a QAS road vehicle.
