Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue chopper has its busiest day of the month
It was a busy day of rescues for the Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crew who airlifted five sick patients in Toowoomba and the south-west region.
The community helicopter performed five separate hospital transfers in the space of twelve hours.
Four of the patients were airlifted to Toowoomba Base Hospital from Warwick, Stanthorpe, Cherbourg and Tara for further treatment. Another patient was transported from Toowoomba Hospital to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
This marks the busiest day for the Toowoomba RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crew this month.
Last Saturday the Toowoomba RACQ LifeFlight Rescue base celebrated its 10th year of service to the area with a local ‘birthday’ celebration.
