Second motocross rider airlifted from Gap Creek
The Toowoomba RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to Gap Creek Farm motocross park for the second time Sunday afternoon, where an 18-year-old man had flipped his bike over a jump and landed on his head.
Both the Critical Care Doctor and Flight Paramedic assisted QAS crews to treat and stabilise the patient from Mount Cotton for possible spinal injuries.
He was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
This was third mission over the weekend performed by RACQ LifeFlight Rescue crews which involved patients being airlifted after motocross accidents.
