Motorbike rider airlifted by CareFlight after head-on collision
A man in his 20s is in a critical condition after colliding head-on with a ute on a windy stretch of road south of Toowoomba at about 2pm this afternoon.
The Toowoomba based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to West Haldon to airlift a male motorbike rider who is believed to have sustained head, internal and leg injuries.
The patient was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical but stable condition.
The driver of the car is believed to be unharmed.
