Man airlifted after snake bite
A man in his 30s who was bitten by an unidentified brown snake in the North Burnett region has been airlifted by the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter service.
The man had been working on an orchard approximately 20 kilometres south of Mundubbera when he was struck on his right hand by the snake.
The Bundaberg RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked shortly after 12.30pm and picked up the patient from Mundubbera Hospital.
He was flown to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
