Man airlifted after falling from tree at Gatton
A man in his 40s has been airlifted to hospital overnight (Monday) by RACQ CareFlight Rescue after falling from a tree on a property at Gatton.
The man fell approximately six metres, sustaining suspected head, spinal and abdominal injuries.
The Toowoomba RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to retrieve the patient from the Gatton Showgrounds shortly after 6pm on Monday.
He was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
