Man airlifted after boating accident near Warwick
The RACQ CareFlight's Toowoomba crew departed the Clive Berghofer CareFlight Centre Saturday afternoon to Warwick Hospital to airlift a male that had been involved in a boating incident.
The male in his mid-forties from Toowoomba had been a passenger in a speed boat at Leslie Dam when he fell from the boat.
It's unsure how the accident happen but the patient suffered lacerations to his head and propeller cuts to his left arm.
He was taken to shore and treated by the Queensland Ambulance Service officers, before being transported via road to Warwick Hospital.
The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter arrived shortly after and airlifted the patient to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
