CareFlight conducts critical overnight rescue missions across South-West
CareFlight Rescue helicopters have flown critical rescue missions across south-west Queensland overnight, with respective patients being transported to Toowoomba and Roma Hospitals for treatment.
The Toowoomba RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to fly to a private property at Cattle Creek, near Tara, at 9.10pm last night (Tuesday) and retrieved a female patient who was suffering the effects of a neurological condition.
She was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital for treatment.
Elsewhere, CareFlight’s Roma-based Surat Gas Aero-Medical Service (SGAS) helicopter flew to a private property north of Roma at 3am. The medical team attended to a 73-year-old man who was also suffering from a neurological condition.
He was flown to Roma in a stable condition.
