CareFlight airlifts teen from motocross park
The Toowoomba RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter has flown to Queensland Moto Park (QMP) at Boonah shortly before midday today, to airlift a teenager who had been injured in a motocross bike accident.
It is believed that the 16-year-old Ipswich local suffered a fractured left arm as a result of the accident.
The teen was treated at the scene by Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics, before he was flown to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital in the care of CareFlight's medical team.
He was transported in a stable condition.
