CareFlight airlifts man after two metre fall
RACQ CareFlight Rescue airlifted a 33-year-old man suffering possible head and spinal injuries after he fell around two metres today.
It’s believed the man may have suffered a seizure whilst working on the property, which caused him to fall and knock his head.
The Bundaberg-based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was called in to assist the patient at a property in Rosedale, north of Bundaberg at around 1.40pm.
Once on scene, the Flight Paramedic on board the helicopter assisted local Queensland Ambulance Service officers to stablise the man.
He was then flown to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
