CareFlight airlifts Gold Coast man
A 74-year-old Mount Tamborine man has been airlifted by the RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter after falling three metres at a local property.
The Brisbane based helicopter picked up the man from the Mount Tamborine Ambulance Station after being called at 1.15pm.
The elderly man had been building a brick wall when he fell to the ground severely hurting his back.
When the CareFlight crew arrived he was in a semi-conscious state.
He was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition with suspected spinal injuries
