Boy airlifted from Fraser Island after falling from rocks
The Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted an eight year old boy from Fraser Island after he fell from some rocks and suffered lower leg injuries.
The boy was attending his mother’s wedding on the Island when he was knocked over in the Champagne Pools area.
He was airlifted by the Bundaberg-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter to Hervey Bay Hospital for further treatment.
He travelled in a stable condition and was accompanied by his mother.
