Woman airlifted by RACQ CareFlight Rescue after horse fall
A woman in her 20s has been airlifted by the RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter with facial injuries following a horse fall in the Goondiwindi region this morning.
It’s believed the rider was injured when the animal tripped and fell at around 5.45am.
The impact of the fall cracked the woman’s safety helmet.
The patient was initially treated in the Goondiwindi Hospital before the rescue helicopter was tasked to airlift her just before 8am.
She was flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
