RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter airlifts horse fall patient
The Toowoomba RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was activated shortly before 7am this morning, and flew to Millmerran, about 200 kilometres west of Brisbane, to airlift a female patient after she reportedly fell from her horse.
It is believed that the 26-year-old woman suffered a broken arm after she was thrown from her horse whilst checking on cattle.
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics treated the woman at the scene, before she was flown to the Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
This is the second horse fall patient RACQ CareFlight have attended to in the past three days, and follows the Bundaberg crew’s airlift of a Gayndah teenager on Saturday.
