Teenager airlifted after skiing accident
The RACQ CareFlight's Toowoomba rescue helicopter flew to Lake Somerset Sunday afternoon where a 16-year-old male had injured himself whilst skiing.
It's believed the young male had been skiing behind a jet ski when he fell off and injured his back.
He was quickly taken to shore where emergency services were alerted.
The rescue helicopters medical team treated the patient for his back injuries and stabilised him to be airlifted to the PA Hospital for further treatment.
He travelled in a stable condition.
