Seriously injured woman airlifted to Brisbane
A woman has been urgently airlifted by RACQ CareFlight Rescue overnight (Sunday) after sustaining serious injuries in a motorcycle crash.
The rider aged in her 20s suffered a suspected spinal injury after falling from a motorcycle.
The Sunshine Coast RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked on a hospital transfer to airlift the injured woman around 6.30pm on Sunday night.
The rescue crew flew to Bundaberg Base Hospital to retrieve the patient.
She was transferred to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.
