Man airlifted after spinal injury at Stanthorpe
A male suffered suspected head and spinal injuries as a result of a incident in the Quart Pot Creek, which runs directly through the town.
It’s believed the man had been riding the rapids of the creek when he went underwater.
Once a shore he was suffering suspected head and neck injuries.
RACQ CareFlight Rescue’s Toowoomba crew flew to Stanthorpe on Sunday afternoon to airlift the man in his mid twenties.
He was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
