Holidaymaker airlifted by RACQ CareFlight Rescue
The Bundaberg RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to Fraser Island at around 8.45am this morning to airlift a man in his 50s suffering a cardiac condition.
The man from New South Wales was holidaying on the island with friends and family when he fell ill.
The man was flown to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition.
