CareFlight airlifts teenager thrown from horse
A teenage girl has been airlifted by RACQ CareFlight Rescue overnight (Wednesday) after she was thrown from a horse in the North Burnett region yesterday afternoon.
The girl suffered a suspected spinal injury.
RACQ CareFlight Rescue’s Bundaberg helicopter was tasked on a hospital transfer to airlift the injured teen around 7pm last night.
The crew flew to Gayndah Hospital to retrieve the patient and transferred her to Bundaberg Base Hospital.
She travelled in a stable condition.
