CareFlight airlifts injured teenager from Gore Highway crash
A teenage boy seriously injured in a single motor vehicle crash on the Gore Highway early this morning has been airlifted by RACQ CareFlight Rescue.
He sustained a suspected head injury in the accident, which happened in the vicinity of Southbrook, north east of Pittsworth.
RACQ CareFlight Rescue’s Toowoomba helicopter responded to the accident, departing the Clive Berghofer CareFlight Centre shortly before 5am.
The teenager was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
