Boy airlifted after trail bike crash
RACQ CareFlight Rescue airlifted an injured boy to hospital overnight (Sunday) following a trail bike crash at Agnes Waters.
The nine-year-old sustained a suspected fractured right leg after he came off his trail bike.
The bike landed on his leg, causing the injury.
The Bundaberg RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was called in to airlift the boy shortly after 5pm on Sunday.
CareFlight’s crew met QAS at the SES landing site and assessed the young patient.
He was flown to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a stable condition.
