Boy airlifted after motocross accident
RACQ CareFlight Rescue Toowoomba's rescue helicopter was tasked to a motocross track outside of Warwick Saturday morning to a report of a injured rider. It's believed the young rider had been riding around the track when an accident occurred in front of him, as he tried to avoid it, he too fell and injured himself.
Once on scene the medical team assisted the QAS in treating the pre teenager from Tweed Heads for a possible fracture to his right femur.
Along with his mother he was airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
