Young girl airlifted after fall from horse
The Bundaberg-based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to Mundubbera Hospital this afternoon to airlift a seven year old girl who fell from a horse.
The young girl suffered a suspected arm fracture and was accompanied in the helicopter by her mother.
She was transported to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a stable condition.
The mission was the second flown by RACQ CareFlight Rescue today involving horse falls.
Earlier today, the Gold Coast-based RACQ CareFlight crew flew to a property at Tamborine Mountain to airlift a woman in her 50s who suffered suspected spinal injuries in a horse fall.
She was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane in a serious condition.
