Two airlifted after seperate motocross accidents

The RACQ CareFlight's Sunshine Coast rescue helicopter flew to Manar Park motocross park Sunday morning to airlift two patients that had suffered injuries in seperate accidents.

The first patient, an 11 year old boy from S.W. of Brisbane, had been riding his motocross bike when he swerved to miss another rider and fell from his bike and suffered suspected spinal injuries.

The second patient, a 20 year old male from Brisbane, suffered injuries to his upper limbs after falling from his bike negotiating a jump.
Both patients were airlifted to the Royal Brisbane Hospital, both in a stable condition.
The younger patient was moved to the Royal Children's Hospital.
