Teenage boy airlifted after motorcycles collide, Rockmount
A 15 year old boy injured in a serious traffic crash at Rockmount on Sunday evening has been airlifted to hospital by RACQ CareFlight Rescue.
According to the Police Media, initial investigations suggest that around 5.30pm two motorcycles collided on Rockmount Road.
The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter from Toowoomba's Clive Berghofer CareFlight Centre landed at a paddock approximately 500 metres from the scene of the crash.
CareFlight’s Critical Care Doctor and Flight Intensive Care Paramedic treated the teen for serious head injuries.
He was airlifted to the Mater Children’s Hospital in a serious condition.
The other rider was taken to hospital by road ambulance.
