Teen airlifted after quad bike crash
A teenager has been airlifted to hospital with suspected head and spinal injuries after a quad bike crash.
The Surat Gas Aero-Medical Service (SGAS) was called to Wallumbilla, 40 kilometres east of Roma at 4pm yesterday.
It’s believed the teen landed on his head.
He was flown by SGAS to Roma Airport in a stable condition, where the rescue helicopter was met by the Royal Flying Doctor Service which on flew the patient to a Brisbane Hospital.
