Second woman airlifted after horse-related accident
A woman in her 60s has been knocked unconscious while working with a horse on a property in Taromeo, near Blackbutt.
This is the second horse-related incident that RACQ CareFlight Rescue has responded to this afternoon.
The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted the woman to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.
It is still unknown whether the woman was knocked over by the horse or the gate.
Earlier this afternoon, the Bundaberg RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted an injured woman who was thrown from a horse in Tiaro.
