Man airlifted after fall from horse
A man in his 40s has suspected spinal injuries after falling from a horse in the Fraser Coast region this morning.
The horseman was riding on his property at Dunmora west of Maryborough, when he was thrown, landing awkwardly.
The Bundaberg RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was called to the scene at 10 this morning.
When the team arrived a Queensland Ambulance crew was treating and stabilising the patient, ready for airlift.
He was flown to the Hervey Bay Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
