Couple airlifted following multi-vehicle crash
A RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter has flown to the site of an accident involving one motor vehicle and three motorcycles.
The Bundaberg based crew were tasked to the accident South of Gladstone on Gladstone-Monto Road at 11:30 this morning.
It is reported a convoy of eight motorcycles were rounding a bend when the lead motorcycle and an oncoming motor vehicle collided, with a subsequent two motorcycles becoming involved in the crash.
CareFlight transported a Gladstone husband and wife suffering from abrasions and possible fractures to Bundaberg hospital. They both travelled in a stable condition.
A third patient was airlifted to Rockhampton Hospital by another helicopter rescue provider.
