Child airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital
A young girl has been injured at a school in the North Burnett region and airlifted by the RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter service.
The child sustained a suspected spinal injury after falling off a chair and hitting her head on a desk.
The Bundaberg RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was tasked to Eidsvold Hospital around 4pm with an Intensive Care Flight Paramedic on-board.
The child has been airlifted to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a stable condition.
Her mother travelled with her in the helicopter.
Bundaberg is one of four RACQ CareFlight Rescue bases servicing Queensland.
