CareFlight airlifts injured horsewoman
A woman has been airlifted to hospital with a suspected leg fracture after a fall from her horse this morning.
The woman in her twenties was riding on a property outside of Miles west of Toowoomba when she was thrown and injured.
RACQ CareFlight Rescue was tasked on the mission just after 11am.
She was airlifted from Miles Hospital to the Gold Coast Hospital in a stable condition.
One third of all CareFlight’s missions last year involved treating and transferring the seriously ill and injured in Queensland’s South West.
