CareFlight airlifts Cooroy teen after horse fall
The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter flew to a property at Cooroy, west of Noosa, this afternoon to airlift a 17 year old girl who was bucked from a horse.
The helicopter landed on the girl’s property to treat her for suspected spinal injuries.
The teen’s mother accompanied her in the back of the CareFlight helicopter and the patient was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane for further treatment.
She travelled in a stable condition.
