Bull gores man at Blenheim
A man in his 60s was airlifted by the RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter on Thursday evening after being gored by a bull at a property in Blenheim in the state’s South West.
The Gold Coast-based rescue helicopter was tasked to transport the injured man at around 5pm Thursday evening, landing on a local school oval.
The man was treated for a serious lower leg injury by QAS Paramedics and CareFlight’s medical team on scene before being airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane for specialist treatment.
He travelled in a stable condition.
