Missing man safely airlifted
A 50 year old man injured and unaccounted for, for six hours, has been safely airlifted to hospital by the Bundaberg based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter.
The man went riding this morning but never arrived at his destination. His family searched for him for most of the day and raised the alarm at 3pm when they found him off Grohn Road, Yerra.
He was suffering serious pelvic injuries after rolling the quad bike around 9am.
The helicopter's Intensive Care Paramedic stabilised the man at the scene before RACQ CareFlight airlifted him to Bundaberg Hospital.
He remains in a stable condition.
