Man airlifted after 4WD rollover at Noosa North Shore
RACQ CareFlight Rescue has airlifted a man injured in a four-wheel-drive rollover at Noosa North Shore early this morning.
The man told CareFlight crew that he was a passenger travelling in the four-wheel-drive which rolled when the driver lost control of the vehicle, shortly before 1:40am.
The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter landed on the beach where its flight doctor and intensive care flight paramedic treated the man for injuries to his leg.
He was flown to CareFlight’s Maroochydore base and transferred by road ambulance to Nambour General Hospital. He was in a stable condition.
The condition of the driver and another occupant believed to be travelling in the vehicle is not known.
