4WD rollover at Noosa North Shore
RACQ CareFlight Rescue has flown to the scene of a four-wheel-drive rollover at Noosa North Shore.
The incident occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle shortly before 7pm on Saturday night, causing it to roll. It came to rest driver’s side down.
The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter flew to the scene where its flight doctor and intensive care flight paramedic stabilised the driver trapped in the wreckage.
He was safely extracted and airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with multi-trauma injuries. He travelled in serious but stable condition.
A passenger also on-board the vehicle was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital as a precaution.
