Lost ladies winched from Cunningham's Gap
Two women in their sixties had to be winched to safety from Cunningham's Gap late this afternoon after becoming lost and disorientated while walking.
The RACQ CareFlight helicopter was tasked at around 4pm on Sunday to locate the missing women.
RACQ CareFlight Air Crewman Leigh Ansley said the crew located the lost women and winched CareFlight Paramedic Peter Scullet-Dean down the wire to assist them.
"Thankfully, when we found the women they were unharmed and did not require any medical treatment," he said.
"They were both well and in good spirits."
The two women were then winched back into the aircraft and flown to Warwick.
