What we do

The LifeFlight Foundation is a community-based organisation that funds and supports the emergency aeromedical services of LifeFlight Australia.

Thanks to the contributions of the LifeFlight Foundation, around 5,000 critically ill and injured people across Queensland will receive a lifesaving flight this year.

We believe every man, woman and child in Queensland should have equal access to emergency, aeromedical care, at no cost, and we work hard every day to make this a reality.

The LifeFlight Foundation’s biggest supporters are the communities we serve, which contribute to almost a third of the much-needed funding to run LifeFlight’s community aeromedical services.

We pride ourselves on being open and transparent with where we invest your generous contributions. We allocate funds to areas and programs where we can achieve the most impact, giving your donation the greatest reach possible.

This year, with your help, we are funding the delivery of the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter service as well as vital aeromedical training, purchasing lifesaving medical equipment, funding maintenance costs and upgrading helicopter assets.

When you support the LifeFlight Foundation, you invest in the lives of Queenslanders.
