A man in fifties has been airlifted by the RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter after his trail bike collided with a car at Teelah north east of Yarraman today.
The Sunshine Coast RACQ CareFlight crew was tasked to the scene of the crash just before eleven this morning.
It’s believed the impact of the crash propelled the man from his bike.
He came to rest some ten metres from the machine, sustaining multi-trauma injuries.
The rescue helicopter landed in a nearby paddock as CareFlight’s Doctor and the Flight Paramedic assisted QAS crews with patient treatment.
The man was flown to the Royal Brisbane Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
